Dentist Appointment
Cancellation Policy

When you make an appointment at Blackall Terrace Dental, that time is reserved exclusively for you. We do not double book patients or shorten appointment times; we dedicate our resources and time entirely to you.

This means that resources are wasted if patients cancel without notice and as such, implement the below cancellation policy. Here are some key aspects:

  • We aim to provide confirmations & reminders but it remains your responsibility to attending all bookings.

  • 24 hours notice is required to rebook or cancel

  • Our cancelation fee is 50% of treatment cost, per cancelled appointment

  • Arriving too late for treatment may result in a cancellation fee

  • Failure to confirm your appointment may result in it being released to the next patient on our waiting list

  • Cancelling more than two appointments at short notice will require prior payment for subsequent bookings

Sanitizing Surfaces
COVID-19

With the ever changing landscape of healthcare provision during COVID-19, we are maintaining rigorous hygiene standards and are ensuring additional measures are in place, keeping our patients, staff and visitors safe during the pandemic. Here are some key aspects:

  • Hand sanitizing before entry

  • Temperature checks

  • COVID triage questions

  • Increased regular cleaning of public spaces

  • We also comply with ADA and NSQHS standards for infection control

  • Mask wearing at all times for visitors, patients and staff

  • Ensuring safe physical distancing is maintained

  • Removing high contact items from public spaces

We are regularly updating our policy and guidance will be provided to patients, visitors and staff prior to and upon entry of the practice
