Emergency Assessment $125

Terms & Conditions

Cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer. All inclusions are subject to clinical suitability.

Does not include the cost of treatment but does include the cost of an emergency assessment on one tooth causing pain or discomfort, any x-rays and special tests required.

Emergency Assessment may be booked for dental issues including pain, discomfort, breakage, dental trauma or significant risk of dental trauma if left untreated.

If the above criteria is not met, you will be advised to complete a comprehensive examination first.

If more complex emergency assessment is required, this will be explained during the appointment along with any additional costs incurred, prior to executing treatment. No further discount will be applied if patients choose to or require to forego any of the included treatment.

If patients Short Notice Cancel or Fail To Attend, full pre-payment is required in order to rebook, without exception, as per the Blackall Terrace Dental cancellation policy. Pre-payments are non-refundable if appointments to which the pre-payment applies are subsequently cancelled within 48 hours, without exception. All bookings are subject to the Blackall Terrace Dental cancellation policy.

Private health fund rebate may be greater than $125, depending on treatment items completed and rebate levels set by your fund. If the health fund rebate is greater, any excess amount will not be credited or refunded. Private health insurance claims are subject to payment by the health fund and health fund terms and conditions including annual limits and eligibility. It is the patient's responsibility to check with their health fund prior to the appointment.

The patient is responsible for full payment of $125 if claims to their health fund cannot be claimed on the day, for any reason, including but not limited to; the health fund being down for service; and/or any rebate limits having been reached; and/or and waiting periods not having been met; and/or HICAPS being unable to connect to their health fund; and/or the terminal(s)/software used for processing claims on behalf of patients being down and/or unable to process their claim for any reason.

Full payment, inclusive of health fund claims if relevant, is required immediately following treatment.

Whitening From $199

Available to HCF Basic Extras members, subject to annual limits and any waiting periods applied by the health fund directly.

It is the patient's responsibility to check and confirm eligibility and rebate levels prior to their appointment.

Private health insurance claims are subject to payment by the health fund and health fund terms and conditions including annual limits and eligibility. It is the patient's responsibility to check with their health fund prior to the appointment.

Refer a Friend Bonus

Terms & Conditions

The Referrer will receive one $25 (twenty five dollar) credit for every successful referral made. The Referred will receive one $25 (twenty five dollar) credit after successfully attending their first visit.

A successful referral is when a referred person; i) Is a new patient who has not received dental examination, care or treatment from any dentist currently or historically practicing at Blackall Terrace Dental or any of the practice's former names; and ii) Books an appointment providing The Referrer's name; and iii) Attends and completes their first appointment at Blackall Terrace Dental. The credit is applied to The Referrer's and The Referred's accounts once The Referred has completed their first appointment. If The Referred cancels or fails to attend their appointment, no credit will be issued to either party.

Cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer.

If rebate is claimed by a private health fund, the health fund will be charged the full amount and the credit will be applied to any gap-payment due. Should the gap-payment be less than the credit amount, the remaining credit amount will remain on the patient account to be redeemed against future appointments.

Credits are applied to privately charged items only and may not be redeemed against claims made to: Medicare, DVA, Sunshine Coast Oral Health Services, Child Dental Benefits Schedule, or any public dental service provided at Blackall Terrace Dental.

Credits cannot be cashed out, exchanged, transferred or redeemed in any other way than towards the costs incurred for dental examinations or treatment at Blackall Terrace Dental. Credits may not be redeemed against any product or stock purchase.

New Patient Exam Offer

The "New Patient Offer" is available to new patients only, and cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer. All inclusions are subject to clinical suitability and individual dentist's availability and enrolment on the offer.

If more complex treatment or assessment is required, this will be explained during the appointment along with any additional costs incurred, prior to executing treatment.
